I have always had an interest in art. From a young age my mom fostered a love for art and music in me. I grew up using primarily drawing and music as my creative outlet. My interest in photography began with a camera I got for free from a friend. I decided to give something a try that I had always had a curiosity in, but was always scared of the technical aspect of photography. But once I took my first set of pictures sitting at my desk, at work, I was hooked. I immersed myself in the side of photography that had always terrified me. The technical side. I read endlessly online and consumed as many books as possible while practicing, practicing, practicing what I had read and experimenting on anything that caught my eye. After a few months I had garnered a working knowledge of the technicalities of my equipment and had reached the limitations of my free gear. So I upgraded to the best equipment I could afford and it was off to the races. Modern gear opened up all new avenues of possibilities and experimentation and it's been an incredible journey of knowledge, beauty, and discovery into new things I'd never imagined I'd love ever since.
You can see more of my portfolio on Instagram. I try and post a few times a week.
